1. Overview

Shimr wants you to love your Shimr purchase. This policy explains how returns, exchanges, and refunds work for orders placed on shimr.ae and delivered within the UAE, in line with UAE Federal Law No. 15 of 2020 on Consumer Protection and applicable e-commerce practices.

2. Return window

You may request a return within 14 days of delivery for unused items in their original packaging with tags attached, unless an item is exempt under Section 4. Contact us at support@shimr.ae with your order number and reason for return.

3. How to return

  1. Email support@shimr.ae with your order number and item(s) to return.
  2. We will confirm eligibility and provide return instructions for the UAE.
  3. Pack items securely in original packaging. You are responsible for return shipping unless the return is due to our error or a defective product.
  4. Once we receive and inspect the item, we will process your refund or exchange.

4. Non-returnable items

The following are generally not eligible for return unless defective or incorrect:

  • Items marked final sale or personalised/customised products.
  • Items that show signs of use, damage, or missing tags/packaging.
  • Hygiene-sensitive goods where seals have been broken (if applicable).

5. Defective or wrong items

If you receive a defective or incorrect item, contact us within 48 hours of delivery with photos. We will arrange replacement or full refund including applicable delivery charges where required by UAE consumer law.

6. Refunds

Approved refunds are processed to the original payment method via Ziina where possible. Refunds typically appear within 5–14 business days depending on your bank or card issuer. Shipping fees are non-refundable except where the return is due to our error or a defective product.

7. Exchanges

Exchanges for a different product or size are subject to stock availability. Contact support to arrange an exchange; price differences will be charged or refunded as applicable.

8. Cancellations

Orders may be cancelled before dispatch by contacting support@shimr.ae. Once shipped, our standard return policy applies. Unpaid orders (pending payment) may be cancelled from your account or will expire automatically per checkout terms.
