Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of shimr.ae and purchases from Shimr ("Shimr"). By creating an account, placing an order, or browsing the site, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy, Returns & Refunds Policy, and applicable UAE laws including Federal Law No. 15 of 2020 on Consumer Protection and its Executive Regulations.

You must be at least 18 years old (or have guardian consent) to purchase. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for activity under your account. Notify us immediately at support@shimr.ae if you suspect unauthorised access. You may update your profile and change your password in Account settings; use Forgot password if you cannot sign in.

All prices are displayed in AED (UAE Dirhams). Unless stated otherwise, prices shown on product pages are exclusive of 5% UAE VAT, which is calculated and displayed at checkout in accordance with Federal Tax Authority requirements where applicable.

We strive for accurate descriptions and imagery; minor variations in colour or finish may occur. We reserve the right to limit quantities, correct pricing errors, and refuse orders placed in error or suspected fraud.

An order is confirmed only after successful payment via Ziina. Until payment is received, items remain subject to availability. We may cancel orders if payment fails, stock is unavailable, or we cannot verify delivery details for UAE addresses.

We deliver within the seven UAE emirates. Delivery times and fees are shown at checkout. Risk of loss passes to you upon delivery to the address you provide. You must provide accurate contact and address information; failed delivery due to incorrect details may incur redelivery charges.

Returns and refunds are governed by our Returns & Refunds Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

All content on shimr.ae — including logos, product photography, and text — is owned by or licensed to Shimr. You may not copy, reproduce, or use our branding without written permission.

To the fullest extent permitted by UAE law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Our total liability for any claim relating to a product or order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. Nothing in these Terms limits your statutory rights under UAE consumer protection law.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. Disputes shall first be addressed by contacting support@shimr.ae. Where required, disputes may be referred to the competent courts or consumer protection authorities in the UAE, including the Department of Economic Development in Abu Dhabi where applicable.
